To enable optimum system functionality, modernly equipped vehicles need sensor cleaning to assure reliability. With this understanding came the discovery that manual cleaning is cumbersome, inefficient, and untimely. This led dlhBOWLES to pioneer its first front camera cleaning system on the 2012 Ford F-150 Raptor. Eight years later and drawing from our over 60 years of automotive innovation and deep strength in research and development, we established the Clēr™ brand in 2020 to coincide with the announcement of our partnership with another longtime industry leader, the RAPA group of Selb, Germany and Auburn, Alabama. With RAPA, we developed our fluid control unit (FCU) which can be configured with as few as three independently controlled cleaning zones, while its modular format facilitates additional multizone expansion for even the most complex system design.
